Општина Књажевац у сарадњи са Општином Видин (Бугарска), Привредном комором из Видина и Институтом за погранична подручја, започела је реализацију пројекта „Тимок – Дунав бициклистичка рута“ у оквиру Програма (ИНТЕРРЕГ VI-А) Бугарска - Србија 2021-2027.
Циљ пројекта је проширење туристичких веза и препознатљивости прекограничног подручја, које обухвата округе Видин и Зајечар, као и унапређење њихове прекограничне повезаности. Специфичан циљ је да партнери реализују бициклистичку руту Тимок–Дунав, која ће се повезати са постојећим трасама EuroVelo 6 и EuroVelo 13 „Пут гвоздене завесе“, чији су део и гранична подручја округа Видин и Зајечар, односно општина Књажевац, као саставни део зајечарског округа.
Укупна вредност пројекта је 926.569,92ЕУР, од чега део пројекта који се односи на општину Књажевац износи 334.085,76ЕУР, при чему је 283.972,89 износ донације, а 50.112,87ЕУР учешће општине.
Пројекат предвиђа изградњу пешачко-бициклистичке стазе у Књажевцу укупне дужине 1825 метара и ширине 3 метра, од чега ће 2 метра бити намењено за кретање бицикала у оба смера, док ће 1 метар бити намењен пешацима. Стаза је планирана уз Сврљишки Тимок, почев од Његошеве улице левом страном регулације уз саму реку и насеља „Јервино“ са друге стране, па све до пешачког моста који се налази у близини дечијег игралишта , а затим десном страном реке до тротоара поред државног пута IB бр. 35, код скретања за село Жлне. Стаза ће бити асфалтирана и оивичена бетонским ивичњацима. Дуж целе стазе планирано је осветљење ЛЕД светлима.
Кроз пројекат ће бити промовисан нови туристички производ и креирано 20 бициклистичких рута.
Период реализације пројекта је 18 месеци.

Within the scope of works, it is explicitly specified that the bicycle track shall be painted in red color, and not constructed of asphalt with red pigment. The section of the path intended for bicycle traffic, with a total width of 2.00 m, shall be coated with red acrylic paint incorporating anti-slip protection, intended for use in the marking of bicycle paths. The pedestrian section, with a width of 1.00 m, shall remain unpainted. A white dashed dividing line shall be applied along the center of the bicycle track. At four locations along the route, bicycle symbols shall be marked in both directions, together with directional arrows indicating the direction of movement and a pedestrian symbol. |
